Laminate surfaces are no longer limited to catalogue wood, stone and solid colours. Digital printing can bring logos, photos, graphics, wayfinding or project-specific artwork onto HPL/laminate surfaces. For hotels, offices, retail, restaurants and public projects, the surface becomes part of brand communication.
Abet Digital describes the customisation of HPL surfaces using high-definition printers. Wilsonart and Formica also offer custom laminate routes using original artwork, photography or brand graphics. This helps short-run and project-specific design.
Image resolution, colour management, panel size, pattern repeat, trimming allowance and hole locations must be planned before production. If the panel will be CNC cut, the artwork should not clash with cut lines, holes or edge details.

It depends on supplier and production programme. Some suppliers support low-quantity or no-minimum custom HPL; confirm per project.
Resolution, colour profile, print area, trimming allowance, hole positions and repeat alignment should be defined before production.
